Course Description

This course is designed to cover the fundamentals of Contract Management, execution challenges during contract implementation explaining how to enforce contracts within the boundaries of legal scrutiny including a techno legal perspective of contracts and rules for negotiating and settling contractual disputes, both during the contractual period and during legal proceedings.

Course Objective

Understanding the fundamental differences Functions of RFI,RFPs and DPRs

Principals and Fundamentals of Contract Management, including a techno legal perspective of contracts.

How to leverage contracts to mitigate project risks

Execution challenges during contract implementation

How to enforce contracts within the boundaries of legal scrutiny

Rules for negotiating and settling contractual disputes, both during the contractual period and during legal proceedings.

Training Outcomes

Be able to draft functionally relevant contract

Execute contracts with minimal impact on planned schedule and cost

Resolve contractual ambiguities in a fair and honest manner without compromising the interests of either party to the contract
